Jon H. Voss, M.D.

Why did you go into OB/GYN?

I was drawn to a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology during my rotation in medical school. The mixture of practicing preventive care in an office setting along with being able to attend deliveries and perform surgery was very appealing to me. I like to involve patients in their health care decisions by being open-minded to each unique situation whenever discussing treatment options.

A graduate of Tates Creek High School, Dr. Voss went on to graduate from Wabash College in Indiana before returning to the University of Kentucky for medical school and completion of residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology. His special interests include hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. He is currently the President of the Medical Staff at Central Baptist Hospital.

He and his wife Sherry, have three children. Jordan is a financial advisor at Merrill-Lynch. Logan attends the University of Kentucky and Samantha is a senior at Henry Clay.
