In 1995, Women's Care Center was born with the merger of the three most prominent OB/GYN practices in the Central Kentucky region. When Physician's for Women (Drs. Van Jenkins, Preston Nunnelley, David Hager, Reva Tackett, Glenn Moore and Jim Baker), Personal Healthcare for Women (Drs. Mike Guiler and Scott Guiler) and Hicks, Wheeler and Looff (Drs. Lewis Hicks, Bill Wheeler and John Looff), merged their practices, one of the largest single specialty private OB/GYN practices in Kentucky was created.

In 1998, Dr. Bradley Youkilis was welcomed to the practice.

In 2004, Medical Associates of Lexington (Drs. Jon Voss and Tom Duncan) became a part of Women's Care Center.
